The flower exhibit at the fair will be vastly different this year without Maria. She was a wonderful mentor to many of the other exhibitors.
I extend my deepest sympathy to all of you. It is a great loss. She was a wonderful and loving friend for so many years. Have many wonderful memories with her.
Maria and I became acquainted at our quilt guild, Hayes Ohio Star Quilt Guild, She was so friendly and always a joy to talk with — and so creative,- giving us interesting quilting and sewing challenges. She will be missed.

To Maria’s family,
I am so sorry for you loss. Maria was a wonderful person and a good friend. I will never be able to garden at home or walk into the fairgrounds without thinking of her. I am sure she is up in heaven looking down on us. I will miss her.
Dear Norton Family:
Maria and I were good friends in grade school and continued our friendship long after college through letters and occasional calls. She was always kind and cared deeply about others. I will remember her always for her love of family and faith, and wish each of you peace during this time of sadness. May God’s perpetual light shine upon her.
My deepest condolences to family and friends. May God’s promises found at Acts 24:15 and Psalms 37:29 bring you comfort during this difficult time.
