On the morning of April 16, 2016, Margie was welcomed into the loving embrace of her husband, son and daughter in heaven.
She was born in Tiffin, OH on May 2, 1932 and graduated from Calvert High School in 1950. After graduation she worked at the Ohio Bell Telephone Co. in Tiffin and later in Toledo.
On June 28, 1952 she married the love of her life, Anthony J. KaSavage Jr. in Washington D.C. and he preceded her in death on May 9, 2010. Also preceding her in death were her parents, Gilbert and Erma (Kleinfelter) Schock; son, Anthony J. KaSavage III; daughter, Linda M. Carroll; brother, John Schock and sister, Marilyn Schock.
She is survived by a son, Phillip (Kurt) KaSavage, San Diego, CA; daughter, Julia T. KaSavage; grandchildren, Anthony J. KaSavage IV, both of Fremont, OH; John F. Carroll (Dr. Carrie Hawk), New Philadelphia, OH, Elizabeth
A. Carroll, Cincinnati, OH and Margaret K. KaSavage, Blacklick, OH; daughter-in-law, Kathy KaSavage, Columbus, OH and son-in-law, Don Carroll, Cincinnati, OH. She is also survived by her sister, Marylou (Burt) Moore, Fort Worth, TX and brothers, Jerry (Daisy) Schock, Visalia, CA, Joe (Dorothy) Schock and Jim (Sue) Schock, both of Tiffin, OH, along with “Honorary” grandchildren, Cassy Mumford and Keith Holley; great grandchildren, Andre and Rylee Holley as well as special family friends Andrew and Dodie Capogrosso.
Margie was a very active pro-life and service minded woman, serving for many years on several Toledo Diocesan councils and committees. She was one of the founding members of HeartBeat of Toledo in 1971, a center dedicated to helping unwed expectant mothers make the choice to keep their babies rather than having an abortion. This center served as a model for subsequent centers throughout Ohio and the rest of the nation. She also served for many years on the board of Our Lady of Toledo Shrine, a facility dedicated to providing housing and other types of assistance for unwed expectant mothers. She, along with her husband Tony, spent countless volunteer hours performing renovations, maintenance and upkeep work there.
A heartfelt thanks to the loving staff at Windsor Lane Health Care.

My deepest sympathy to Marge’s family. Marge and I became good friends in those first months of Heartbeat’s beginnings. We worked together on the Agency-Liaison committee. I came to respeact and admire her as we travelled to the local agencies informing them of our new organization. I will especially remember her kindness and compassion.
