Hi Kathy and the Family of Wayne and Mardell. Mary and I are saddened with the passing of your Mom. Your Mom and Dad and Mary and I shared a lot of good Memories with them through the years. Our Friendship goes back to the mid 70’s when Wayne and I worked at Suburban Motor Freight in Toledo. One of our greatest memories is when we invited them over for Supper and i cooked Taco’s for them. That was a first for them having a Taco. I know you have heard the story. Mary and I visited Mardell recently at the Nursing Home and that was brought up. We had a nice visit that day. We have truly missed our friendship with them. Good Luck to all of you. I am sure we will cross paths in our travels.

    Dear Kathy, Patty, and Connie,

I am your mom’s first cousin Rita (Herner) Boals. You girls were likely pretty young when we used to have the Herner Reunion, so I don’t know if you remember me.

Your mom was always so sweet, fun, and full of life. I remember your parents’ wedding; it was probably the first I attended and inspired lots of “playing bride” as a little girl. We pray that God will comfort and keep all of you. Treasure the memories you have of your mom!

    Your cousin,

Rita and Tom Boals, Boise, Idaho

Patty, Kathy & Connie, Sorry to hear of your mom’s passing. I always enjoyed running into them at the store. We would talk and laugh for the longest time. I am sure that it was hard the last few months not being able to visit with her. Lots of memories will keep her alive in your hearts.
