
Marcia L. Rahrig, 68, of Fremont, OH passed away on Sunday, December 27, 2015 at ProMedica Memorial Hospital surrounded by her family. She was born July 29, 1947 in Fremont, OH, the daughter of Edwin and Norma (Fisher) Davisson. Marcia was a 1965 graduate of Fremont Ross High School and then graduated from Beauty School in Tiffin, OH.
Marcia married Richard E. Rahrig on June 22, 1968 in Fremont and he preceded her in death on July 7, 2014. She worked for Mane Attraction and the Fremont City School in their libraries. Marcia retired from Costume Holiday House as a Seamstress in 2012. She was currently a Beautician for Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home for several years. Marcia was a member of Grace Community Church, Women of Grace, Fremont Eagles, Red Hat Society and a former member of the Fremont Moose. She was a Campfire Leader for many years and the Historian for the Class of 1965. Marcia enjoyed Girls’ Night Out, crafting, reading, knitting, sewing, playing video games, sight-seeing, and having lunch with her friends and family. She was an avid fan of Elvis Presley, Jeff Gordon and Roy Rogers.
Marcia is survived by her children; daughters, Tammy L. (John) Zanetti, Port St. Lucie, FL, Tracy A. (Jeff) Bowser, Alliance, OH; Tanya J. Schardt, Fremont, OH; sister, Beverly J. (Richard) Bradford, Fremont, OH; grandchildren, Joshua, Alexis and Brandon Bortel, Jesilyn and Nicole Zanetti; four great granddaughters and three more on the way.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Richard; twin sister, Patricia Davisson and a great grandson.
Visitation: Wednesday from 4 pm to 8 pm at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 425 E. State St, Fremont, OH.
Service: Thursday, December 31, 2015, 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Forrest Kirchenbauer officiating.
Burial: Greenlawn Memory Gardens, Clyde, OH
Memorials: North Coast Cancer Care or Hospice of ProMedica Fremont Memorial Hospital.
