Malcolm “Barry” Machin, 61, Fremont, OH passed away on July 24, 2021 at Parkview Care Center.  He was born on July 22, 1960 in Arvida, Quebec, Canada the son of Alan C. and Lenore (Jameson) Machin.  He was a 1978 graduate of Fremont Ross High School.  Barry was the owner of MBM Roofing and then co-founding owner of U-New Tent Rental.  He was a member of Worship Alive Church in Bellevue.  Barry loved to spend time in the Florida Keys and was always willing to lend a hand to others.  His smile and infectious laugh will be greatly missed.

Barry is survived by his sisters, Nancicarol (Tom) Woleslagel, and Christy (Dan) Brudzinski both of Fremont; nephew and nieces, Bradley (Jordyn) Woleslagel, Christy (Fernando) Cortez, Cassie Woleslagel and Molly Brudzinski.

The family would like to thank the staff at ProMedica Memorial Hospital, Dr. John Hiestand, Heartland Hospice and Parkview Care Center for their loving care.

Private services have been held.

Memorials can be made to Worship Alive Church or Sandusky County Humane Society.

Wow…. Great friend of mine . We had a lot of fun together whether we were shingling or riding in the covertible heading to Port Clinton. I will definitley miss that laugh.

I’m in shock and wish this to not be true. Barry was part of my life in Fremont. My condolences to his entire family and many friends. Life catches up to us sooner or later and I always thought he would be a shining light forever

So so sorry to hear this!! As I worked for Barry for 4 years!! My 1st day on the job he greeted me with a shot of Rhumplmintz (poofer). He taught me everything I know about roofing and siding!! He will be missed!! I know “BUCK” is happy to see him!!

I had a wonderful friendship and dialogue with Barry.
Always happy with our conversations.
Barry loved people. And I can tell you that he loved us all.
He told me so. He especially loved his family as he stated proudly of all of their accomplishments. I will believe in his powerful laughter forever. Very thankful for all of the time and conversations that we had. God bless you Barry forever. Bob Parker
