    Dear Linda and Marla,
My heart goes out to you. Even though you are grown and have children of your own, losing your mom can make you feel like a child who wants nothing more than Mom to make it stop hurting.
I was planning to get to her funeral this morning, but Jeff is sick and I certainly don’t want to unintentionally bring any illness to any of you. Your mom and all your family will be in
    my prayers.
    Sincerely,
    Carol Miller
