I am so very sorry for your loss. Larry was the only person in the history of DaVinci’s to order chocolate milk with every single flavor in it — not all at one time! He will be remembered with a smile.

My baby brother is 7 years old. Larry was his best friend and for some time, Larry was his only friend. He used to encourage children at the library to read. He was a kind man. He loved his sweets and he had a contagious smile! Love you larry!

Larry was a kind and gentle soul. He spent many hours at the library conducting research on a wide variety of topics. We looked forward to his interesting reference questions, and we enjoyed his unique sense of humor. Larry will be missed by his library friends.

My best friend growing up. I had lost track of Larry since moving away in the early 90s, but recently unearthed a cassette tape of he and I celebrating the end of the 1970s. It was new years eve 1979 and we were both excited about the decade coming to an end and the 1980s starting. I really didnt see Larry much after that time, but do have great memories as the next door neighbor that visited often. May GOD rest his soul and know that i will be thinking of the entire Meyer family during the viewing and the burial. My love to you all .

My mind dances with so many memories of Larry. Our numerous Bible studies together at St Joes, him seated at DaVincis with a book and hot drink in hand, a quick wave as we pass each other walking on a warm summer day. Sometimes catching him seated at a table in the library, battered brifcase and open books spread about him, a shy smile and twinkle in his eye. ”So what subject is it today Larry?” I ask. Larry, eager to share, opens up the conversation and I am amazed anew at the breath and scope of his interests.

Sorry for your loss. Fremont has lost a great and caring soul.
