Kimberly J. Head

Kimberly J. Head, 65, of Fremont, OH passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Wednesday, August 30, 2023 at Bethesda Care Center.  She was born on June 16, 1958 in Ashland, OH to Richard and Margery (Donelson) Ross.  Kim was a 1976 graduate of Fremont Ross High School.  Kim married Michael Head at Hayes United Methodist Church in 1985 and he survives.  She worked in the accounting department at Signature Label in Oak Harbor, OH for over thirty years until she retired in 2018.  Kim enjoyed working out, being outdoors, going shopping with her daughters and spending time with her friends and family, especially her grandsons.

Kim is survived by her husband of thirty-eight years, Michael Head, Fremont, OH; daughters, Kaleen (Dan) Soisson, Huron, OH, Janelle (Aaron) Opelt, Fremont, OH, grandsons, Carter Soisson, Lucas Soisson, Brooks Opelt and Lyle Opelt; mother, Margery Ross, Fremont, OH; sister, Teri (John) Harkness, Bowling Green, OH and sister-in-law, Sheri Ross, Fremont, OH.

She is preceded in death by her father and brother, Tony Ross.

Visitation will take place on Tuesday, September 5, 2023 from 2 to 4 and 5 to 7 p.m. at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 425 E State St, Fremont, OH 43420.

Services will be held on Wednesday at 10:30 am at the funeral home with Pastor Andrea Thurston officiating.

Burial will take place at McGormley Cemetery, Fremont, OH.
