
Keith I. Fought, 77, of Fremont, OH passed away on Friday, September 18, 2015 at Tiffin Mercy Hospital. He was born on July 15, 1938 in Toledo, OH to Virgil and Luella (Scanlan) Fought. Keith served in the U.S. Army from 1955 to 1959.
Keith married Vicky E. Rendon and she survives. He worked as an Inspector for General Motors for thirty-three years and retired in 2000. Keith was a Life Member of the Fremont VFW. He was an avid sports fan, especially of the Detroit Tigers, Lions and Red Wings and a fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes. Keith enjoyed listening to music and going out to eat with friends and family. Keith was dearly loved and was the patriarch of the family.
Keith is survived by his wife of fifty-seven years, Vicky Fought; his children, Kenneth (Peggy), Linda (Dan), Michael (Chris), Larry (Sheryl) Cheryl (Douglas), Lorri (Paul), Dianne (Louis), Keith (Sharon); sister, Carol (Eddie) Jacobs; thirty grandchildren, thirty-two great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents along with this step mother, Jean Fought and sisters; Donna and Jean.
Visitation: Tuesday from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 425 E. State St, Fremont, OH.
Service: Wednesday, September 23, 2015, 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Gary Clowers officiating.
