Kathaline “Kathy” Sue Hoffert

Kathaline Sue Hoffert, 54, of Fremont, OH passed away at her home on August 7, 2014. She was born May 24, 1960 in Albuquerque, NM, the daughter of Robert James Hoffert, Sr. and Carol (Pleades) Karr Sloan formerly Carol (Pleades) Sloan Hoffert.

Kathy loved life and loved to laugh. She enjoyed and cherished the smaller things in life. Family and her two dogs Trisha and Toby, were most important. She didn’t have much but made the most of what she had. Kathy spoke her mind and was very honest and supportive. She enjoyed bike riding, walking her dogs and enjoyed time with loved ones. She was famous for her get togethers, home made peanut brittle and beef jerky. She will be forever in our hearts.

Kathy is survived by her children, Teniell A. (Jose) Mata, Tim R. Lagrou, Tyson J. (Trisha) Lagrou, all of Fremont, OH; parents, Robert J. Hoffert, Sr., Clyde, OH, Carol Karr Sloan, Williamsburg, OH; siblings, Richard (Eva) Hoffert, Fremont, OH, Susan (Tony) Alejandro, Peoria, AZ, Rebecca (Brian) Mouch, Williamsburg, OH, Debra Hoffert, Fremont, OH; nine grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her grandson, Conner Joseph Bartl; brother, Robert James Hoffert II; uncle, Dwight Billard; daughter-in-law, Christina Lagrou.

Visitation: Sunday from 6:00 pm
