
Karen Sue Charles, 64, of Fremont, OH went to be with the Lord on September 10, 2021 at ProMedica Memorial Hospital. She was born on August 23, 1957 in Fremont the daughter of James and Joanne (Flahiff) Oman. She was a 1975 graduate of Fremont Ross High School. Karen married Randy Charles on July 19, 2003 and he survives. She was a homemaker and loved painting arts and crafts. She was a member of Hedges and Highway Church in Fostoria, OH.
Karen is survived by her husband of eighteen years, Randy Charles, Fremont; son, Jamie Bookman, Deshler, OH daughter, Brigette Witt, Fremont; step-son, Matt (Jamie) Charles, Fremont; mother, Joanne Oman, Fremont; siblings, Debbie (Mike) Benton, Fremont, Jeff (Linda) Oman, Sherrie (Joe) Watts and Lori Bloom all of Fremont; grandchildren, Abby and Sydney; step-grandchildren, Karnell, Kaileese and Kyler.
She was preceded in death by her father, James Oman; daughter, Sara Bookman and brother, Michael Oman.
Private services were held for the family.
