Juliet “Romaine” Ruggiero, 79, formerly of Fremont, OH passed away on Wednesday, August 2, 2023 in Spring Hill, FL. She was born on November 4, 1943, in McComb, OH to Arthur and Mary (Farquharson) Breece. Romaine was a 1961 graduate of McComb High School. Romaine married Gary Ruggiero on May 2, 1964. They lived in the same house in Fremont from 1973 until she moved to Florida in 2020. Gary passed away on December 1, 2004.
She worked for Kroger in Fremont where she retired after thirty years of service. She volunteered at Grace Lutheran Church and enjoyed spending time working in the yard and attending family events. Her favorite pastimes were shopping for good deals and spoiling her big dog, Kiska.
Romaine is survived by her children, Jeff (Maria) Ruggiero and Stacy (Greg Cardenas) Ruggiero; siblings, Philip (Karen) Breece, Blair (Nancy) Breece, Candy Van Gundy, Cheryl Buck, and Joan (James) Holland.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband; brother, John Breece and sister March Bean.
Visitation will take place on Thursday, August 17 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 425 E. State St, Fremont, OH 43420.
Services will be held on Friday, August 18, 2023, 11:00 a.m. at Grace Lutheran Church, 705 W. State St, Fremont, OH 43420 with an hour of visitation prior to service at the church.
Burial will follow the service at Oakwood Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made in her honor to the Village House, 350 Rawson Ave, Fremont, OH 43420.
