Joseph “Joe” G. Dray

Dray Joseph G.

Joseph G. Dray, 70, of Fremont, OH passed away at his home on January 11, 2022.  He was born on January 31, 1951 in Delphos, OH the son of Richard and Beatrice (Markward) Dray.  He was a 1969 graduate of Fremont Ross High School.  Joe served in the US Army during the Vietnam War.  He worked a Whirlpool Corporation for thirty years until he retired in 2011.  Joe married Karen Kramb on September 27, 1985 in Fremont, OH and she survives.  Joe was a member of the Fremont V.F.W. and the Clyde Eagles and Moose.  He enjoyed gardening, going to tag-it sales, cooking and driving his Cadillac.  Joe was known for his one liners and will be missed by many.

Joe is survived by his wife of thirty-six years, Karen Dray, Fremont; children, Nathan (Jenna) Dray, Columbus, Meredith (Steven) Niederkohr, Carey, OH, Karie Dray, Fremont and Kyle Dray, Cleveland; grandchildren, Siena and Serena Dray, Sophie and Maddox Niederkohr; siblings, Robert (Janie) Dray, Green Springs, David (Karen) Dray and Bev (Dennis) Tuckerman both of Fremont; brothers-in-law, Donald Stines and Greg Bonnell both of Fremont.

He is preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Sally Stines and Patty Bonnell.

A Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, January 15, 2022 from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Fremont VFW, 204 Birchard Ave, Fremont, OH.

Memorials can be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital or Donor’s Choice.
