My Aunt Jewel you are among one of those sweetest souls that will be truly missed here on this earth. I have had the pleasure of experiencing your kindness; wisdom and laughter as a child growing up. I can not forget your delicious tortillas…You were always generous with your love and helpful advice for family members, just like your husband whom will be greeting you home. Your work on earth has been done and your spirit will live long in many hearts
Love always, your nephew Curtis

I just want to say that we, the siblings of Jewel Garza have been honored and blessed by God to have had her as a mother on this earth. Even with her dementia later in life, she never stopped loving us and never stopped praising God. She loved everyone unconditionally. She never had a lot of material goods, but she had the most important thing, which was love everyone. God bless you and thank you Mom. Your loving son, Louie

Aunt Jewel, your smile, I’ll always remember your smile. Not once do I remember you not smiling. Your smile would light up the room like a ray of sunshine. That’s how I want to remember you Aunt Jewel. You were a one of a kind. I’m so sorry I cannot be there for you because of my current shutdown working 7 days a week 12 hour shifts. But in my minds eye, I can imagine seeing you right now smiling down on us. With love, Efrain and Martha
