
Jerry A. Winke, 67, of Fremont, OH passed away on December 31, 2020 at his home. He was born on March 5, 1953 in Fremont, OH the son of Donald Winke and Frances (Lance) Goehring. Jerry was a 1971 graduate of Fremont Ross High School. Jerry worked at Whirlpool Corporation for over twenty-five years until he retired. He enjoyed feeding his squirrels, fishing, bowling, swimming, movies and music. Jerry also loved his sports cars, riding his bike and spending time with his family and friends. He also like to go out to eat and working puzzles.
Jerry is survived by his son, Nathan A. (Samantha) Winke, Oakwood, OH; grandchildren, Trenton, Bryanna and Logan; sister, LaDonna (Lee) Vivod, Port Clinton, OH; step-sister, Vickie Whitewolf; niece, Corrina M. Rodd; nephew, Aaron Shiets; great niece and nephews, Brandyn and Nolan O’Connell and Jamison Shiets and best friend, April Haas, Clyde.
Jerry is preceded in death by his parents and step-parents, Donald and Jeannie Winke and Frances and Richard Goehring; sister, Cynthia Winke and step-brother, Robert Ford.
Visitation: Tuesday, January 5, 2021 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 425 E State St., Fremont, OH.
The use of face masks is required while indoors at all services. Social distancing will be observed throughout all services with wait times taking place outdoors. Burial: Thursday, January 7, 2021 10am at McPhearson Cemetery, Clyde, OH.
