
Jennie H. Hill, 98, of Fremont, OH passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, March 10, 2022 at Elmwood Communities in Fremont. She was born on November 3, 1923 in Willard, OH, the daughter of Frank and Grace (Voss) Sipsma. She was a 1942 graduate of Fremont Ross High School. Jennie married Lester “Buster” L. Hill on February 24, 1945 in Tiffin, OH and he preceded her in death on July 7, 2017. She worked at Countryside Continuing Care Center for twenty years. Jennie was a member of First United Church of Christ and enjoyed cooking, playing bingo and watching the birds.
Jennie is survived by her sons, Michael (Viki) Hill, Fremont, OH, Edwin (Patricia) Hill, Lindsey, OH and Thomas (Marsha) Hill, Oak Harbor, OH; son-in-law, Lynn Kaiser, Fremont; eight grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren and eight great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lester “Buster” L. Hill; daughter, Nancy Kaiser; siblings, Henry and Clarence Sipsma, Helen Meirke and Henrietta Williamson.
The family would like to thank ProMedica Hospice and Elmwood Communities for the care they gave to Jennie.
A Graveside Service will take place on Monday, March 14, 2022; 11:00 a.m. at Four Mile House Cemetery.
Memorials can be made to First United Church of Christ.
