
Janet Marie Boatman, 81, of Kansas, OH passed away at her home, surrounded by her family, on Saturday, December 31, 2022. She was born January 14, 1941 in Fremont, OH to Louis and Lois (Yoder) Feasel. Janet married Clark Boatman on December 12, 1959 and he survives. She was a Postmaster with Postmaster Services. Janet was a member of Kansas United Methodist Church and enjoyed camping, fishing, bird watching, gardening, and playing cards. Her family was everything to her and loved family get togethers.
Janet is survived by her husband of sixty-three years, Clark Boatman, Kansas, OH; children, John (Kathy) Boatman, Sandusky, OH and Joel (Patricia) Boatman, Fremont, OH; grandchildren, Cary (Cassidy), Darcie (Christopher), Alexandra, LaMarcus, Rachel, Kelsea, Shannon (Mike), Terrance “Babe” (Molly); siblings, Carl (Doris) Feasel and LuAnn (Joe) Lauer; great grandchildren, Tyler, Michael, Cole, Matthew, Benjamin, Sophia, Liana, Micah and Esme.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
A Celebration of Life will take place on Friday, January 6, 2023, from 6 – 8 pm at Kansas United Methodist Church, 5926 W. SR 635, Kansas, OH
Memorial can be made in Janet’s honor to Kansas United Methodist Church or Stein Hospice.
