Janet A. Collier

Janet Arlene Collier, 86, of Fremont, OH passed away peacefully on Friday, January 13, 2023 at Valley View Health Care.  She was born on June 26, 1936 in Battle Creek, NE, the daughter of Mon and Blanche Bartee.  Jan married Ronald Collier on June 23, 1956 at St, Joseph Catholic Church and shared sixty-one years of marriage until his passing on July 24, 2017.  She was a graduate of Bowling Green School of Nursing and was an LPN at Fremont Memorial Hospital.  Jan enjoyed visiting casino’s and playing the piano.  She also enjoyed watching Nebraska and Ohio State college football and the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Jan is survived by her children, Christina (John) Reynolds, Westerville, OH, Carrie (Joe) Beier, Roni (Steve) Blue, Georgia Collier and Ross Collier, all of Fremont, OH; six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ron and ten brothers and sisters.

The family would like to give a special thanks to Valley View Health Care staff and Hospice of ProMedica Hospital for their care and compassion.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
