You and Mary were like second parents to me when Shirley and I were kids. Rest easy Jim. Tell Mary I said hi. Love you.

I miss you so much, papa. I know you are free and happy now. Don’t worry about me. My tears will eventually stop flowing and I will be happy again. My want is selfish; I just miss you.
Your daughter,
Shirley

Tomorrow will be a year. I remember on this day last year, your last day on earth, playing music for you. Seems like yesterday. Oh how I wish you were here. I miss you so much and wanted more time. I love you papa.

Well papa, December 24th is coming soon and it will be two years. I miss you so much! The laughter, love and great talks we used to have. I still talk to you and I know you hear me. Just one more hug and one more kiss, oh would I love! You know I did and am doing the best that I can. Tell mama and Patrick how much I love them, and I love you too, papa.

I can’t believe it’s been 4 years soon papa. Thank you for being my guardian angel and thank you God for letting me have my papa in spirit. Thank you papa for the help you’ve given me. I know with all my heart and soul it’s been you. Stay with me for however long I have, okay? I think about you, mama, Patrick and Derrell and how wonderful it will be when I reunite with you all. I love you papa so much.
Your daughter
