James Edward Streeter, 82, of Fremont, OH passed away June 7, 2023 at Fischer Titus Medical Center in Norwalk, OH. Jim was born on January 12, 1941 in Fremont, OH to David and Loretta (Darr) Streeter. He was a 1959 graduate of Fremont Ross High School and was inducted to the Ross Hall of Fame in 2018. Jim was a superintendent at Mosser Construction for over forty years until he retired in 2006. Jim married Susan Kay Clark on October 4, 1969 in Fostoria, OH and she survives. He was a member of Grace Lutheran Church and enjoyed golfing, fishing and hunting. He was an avid Ohio State, Cleveland Browns and Indians fan, but most of all he loved to attend his four granddaughter’s sporting events and activities.
He is survived by his wife of fifty-three years, Susan Streeter; children, Tina (Jerry) Moses, Fremont OH, and Geoffrey (Cybil) Streeter, Missouri City, TX; granddaughters, Meghan and AnneMarie Moses, Meredith and Madeline Streeter.
Jim is preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation: Sunday, June 11, 2023, from 2 to 4 p.m. at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 425 E State St., Fremont, OH.
Services: Monday, June 12, 2023; 10:00 a.m. at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 425 E State St., Fremont, OH.
