Jacquline Y. Dukes

Jacquline Y. Dukes, 73, of Fremont, OH ended her existence on earth to begin her eternal existence with the Lord on Monday, August 9, 2021 at Spring Creek Nursing Home in Green Springs, OH.  She was born May 1, 1948 in Laurel, MS to the late Theodore and Phennie Mae (McNeil) Dukes.  She attended R.H. Watkins High School and completed her G.E.D.  Jackie was blessed with 3 children, Parrida M. (Kenneth Harris) Dukes, Alexander (Cherise) Dukes, Tonia Dukes all of Laurel, MS.  She worked different jobs throughout the years.  Jackie loved the Lord and was a member of River of Living Water Church.  She loved cooking and watching her grandchildren.  Jackie enjoyed dancing and singing the word of God.  She was very considerate of everyone and enjoyed helping family and friends.

In addition to her children, Jackie leaves to cherish her memory twelve grandchildren, Princess Dukes, Keith (Erica) Alridge, Precious (Troy Wolverton) Dukes, Eric (Kathaline) Alridge, Pierre (Sandra Alridge) Dukes, Keiara Dukes, Kokela Dukes  Kendria Dukes, Raneva Dukes, Jamesia Dukes, Tawaina Dukes, Rodney Pettiford, Jr.; thirty great grandchildren; special sister, Shelia Jones Price, and a lovely friend, John “Blue” Sims.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, John C. Dukes

Visitation:  Tuesday, August 17, 2021, from 10 am to 11 am at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 425 E. State St, Fremont, OH.

Services will follow at 11:00 am at the funeral home with Bishop Robert Jones officiating.
