
Jacqueline “Jackie” O’Donnell, 85, of Fremont, OH passed away on Thursday, June 3, 2021 at Elmwood Communities. She was born on June 18, 1935 in Fremont, OH to Grover and Glenna (Hughes) McKay. Jackie was a 1953 graduate of Fremont Ross High School. Jackie married “Jack” John O’Donnell in 1971 in Fullerton, CA and he survives. She was a secretary at T.O. Murphy for many years. Jackie was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church, the Legion of Mary and Silver Threads Prayer Group. She enjoyed reading, cooking and watching sports, especially Michigan State Basketball. Jackie was devoted to her faith and loved spending time with family and friends.
Jackie is survived by her husband of almost fifty years, Jack O’Donnell, Fremont, OH; son, Bryan O’Donnell, Columbus, OH; nephews, Mark Nahm and Joey Pasch; niece, Susan Ragan.
She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings, Elsie Cram, Shirley O’Donnell, Sandra Nahm and Thomas McKay.
Visitation: Sunday from 3 to 5 p.m. at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 425 E. State St., Fremont, OH 43420.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, June 7, 2021, 2:00 p.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 709 Croghan St., Fremont, OH.
Burial: St. Joseph Cemetery, Fremont, OH
