
Jack W. Dickman, 82, of Green Springs, OH passed away on February 14, 2016 at Bellevue Hospital ER. He was born on July 26, 1933 to Walter and Evelyn (Hodge) Dickman. Jack married Norma Burdette on March 7, 1953 in Green Springs and she survives. He was a 1951 graduate of Green Springs High School.
Jack owned and operated Dick’s Café in Green Springs and Clyde Piper in Clyde for many years until he retired. He was an outstanding cook and enjoyed woodworking and reading. He was a former member of the Fremont Moose and Clyde Eagles.
Jack is survived by his wife of sixty-two years, Norma Dickman, Green Springs; children, Diane (Brian) Vickery, Clyde, OH and Dana (Rebecca) Dickman, Vickery, OH; sisters, Eleanor Lee and Mary Strait both of Clyde, OH; thirteen grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Steven Dickman and granddaughter, Desirae Dickman.
Visitation: Thursday from 10 to 12 noon at Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 211 N. Broadway St., Green Springs, OH.
Memorial Service: Thursday, February 18, 2016; 12 Noon at the funeral home.
Burial: Green Springs Cemetery

My father worked part-time for years with Jack, and always spoke highly of him. I remember as a child visiting Dad and Jack, and I was always treated kindly. Dennis died, but I will notify Jerry in Florida. My deepest sympathy.
