Jack Howard Fox, 82, of Fremont, OH passed away peacefully on March 1, 2023 at his home. He was born on May 18, 1940 in Monroe, MI the son of Fred C. and Mary Belle (Laney) Fox. He was a 1958 graduate of Monroe High School. Jack served in the US Air Force stationed in Alaska from January 12, 1959 to August 13, 1962 where he received the Good Conduct Medal. Jack married Susan Sweet on December 6, 1969 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Royal Oak, MI and she survives. He worked as an engineer at Kelsey Hayes for thirty years until he retired on June 1, 1994. He then was the co-owner of Parkside Park Miniature Golf from 1994 to 2007. Jack enjoyed coaching Little League Baseball, watching Detroit Tigers baseball, yardwork, walking and going to casinos.
Jack is survived by his wife of fifty-three years, Susan Fox, Fremont; children, Steven (Jill) Fox, East Greenville, PA, Jason Fox, Fostoria, and Scott (Lisa) Fox, Fremont; siblings, Virginia Pickelsiner, Lake Alfred, FL and Gary Fox, Texas City, TX; grandchildren, Caleb (Alyssa) Ottney, Radek, Abigaile, Kira, Ava, Chad and Noah Fox, Brady and Sofia Contreras.
He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Russell Fox and an infant granddaughter, Aryn.
It was Jack’s wish to have no services.
Memorials can be made to the VFW or Humane Society of Sandusky County.
Arrangements are entrusted to Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, Fremont, OH.
