Jack A. Zerman

Jack A. Zerman, 63, of Greenfield Ct, Fremont, OH passed away on Wednesday, July 3, 2013 at Firelands Regional Medical Center in Sandusky, OH. He was born on January 29, 1950 in Fremont, the son of James P. and Esther R. (Miller) Zerman.

Jack married Valerie J. Hodgkinson on April 3, 1976 in Fremont and she preceded him in death on October 9, 2003.

Jack currently worked at Crescent Manufacturing as a Supervisor for the past fifteen years. He had previously worked at D.G. Trim Products in Fremont. Jack enjoyed NASCAR, drag racing, motorcycles, 4-wheeling, boating and helping people. He loved his dogs, Pepper and Gracie (who recently passed away).

Jack is survived by his children, Tami J. (Brian) Bowman, Tammy L. (Huy) Tran, Jackie R. (Eduardo) Hernandez, all of Fremont, OH; sisters, Esther Zerman, Birmingham, OH, Sandra Collins, Clyde, OH, Darlene Zerman, Pt. Clinton, OH, Lu Cinda Zerman, Cardington, OH; twin brother, James Zerman, Clyde, OH; life companion, Paula Hendricks, Fremont, OH; grandchildren, Brittani, Brett and Taelor Bowman, Cody Hrynciw, Tyler Tran and Caleb Evans.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Valerie J. Zerman and sister, Cristine Sturns.

Visitation: Sunday from 2 – 4 pm and 6 – 8 pm at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 425 E. State St, Fremont, OH.

Service: Monday, July 8, 2013, 10:30 am at the funeral home with Rev. Lorna McKinstry officiating.

Burial: Oakwood Cemetery
