Dear Cousins:
You said it best when you said that Aunt Helen was a “very prayerful woman” – there can be no doubt about that. To me, that may be the one thing I remember most: her tremendous faith – with God all things are possible. That being said, I pray for all of you: Larry, Kay, Jim, John, Teresa and Diane…and my Godchild Joe.
May God Bless You all and your families.

Mom parents and I, always enjoyed visiting my Aunt Helen. She also, always offered us something to slake our thirst. Inevitably she would receive a phone call from one of her children when we were visiting: It was then, a call back for later I think. She had stories to tell us of what happened to her and if I can remember correctly, it was by golly with a slap on the knee when we returned the favor. Always welcoming an unannounced visit from us on a Sunday and it was good to have that welcome.
Will miss her, and realize that it was a-comin’ as she was becoming a little more quiet in her demeanor. Also, thankful that we were invited to a 90th birthday dinner for Helen! I know that I will remember her dearly, and hope that she will find my Mother and Wilbur in heaven.

Our sympathy and prayers to the family of my Great-Aunt Helen. Aunt Helen was a kind woman who loved her family and extended family. She always made us food whenever we visited her, and made us feel at home. She was the last of my Grandma’s sisters to pass into Heaven, and I’m sure she’s happy to be reunited with her husband, daughter, and family in Heaven. We will all miss her pure goodness and prayers. Rest in Peace – Aunt Helen.

I knew Helen as my best friend’s mother. She was always smiling, with a spark in her eye, and a love for sweets. She was the understanding mom, who seemed un-phased by our child-like “antics”. I remember her exactly as she was then: a little peanut of a woman with a big smile on her face, and a Godly peace & knowledge that there was a much bigger picture than what was happening at that particular time. Rest in peace, Helen (or in my case, Mrs. Meyer). I will watch over Teresa.

I am so sorry to hear about Helen’s passing away. My sincere Sympathy to Jim, Jinghua, and the family! I only met Helen once at a Meyer family gathering, which my family were invited to, and I have remembered Helen kind and quite smiles since then.
May her rest in peace!
