
Harry R. Liggins, Sr., 65, of Fremont, OH passed away at his home on Friday, May 27, 2022. He was born on February 8, 1957 in Lambert, MS to Tommie Lee and Clover (Lee) Liggins, Sr. He was a 1975 graduate of Fremont Ross High School. Harry married Terri Sue Saddler on May 31, 1975 in Fremont and she preceded him in death on March 4, 2021. He worked at the Holiday Inn Express until he retired. Harry loved sports and was proud to be inducted into the Fremont Ross Hall of Fame in 2012. He also enjoyed spending time with his family and dog, Bella. Harry loved to read and listen to music. He was a very social person and loved to be around people.
Harry is survived by his children, Larissa (Jeffrey) Simpson, Lima, OH, Jamie Liggins, Fremont, OH, Harry (Toni) Liggins, Jr., Pataskala, OH, Josh Liggins, Toledo, OH; mother, Clover Liggins, Fremont, OH; siblings, Tommie L. (Brenda) Liggins, Jr. of North Carolina, Beverly Liggins, Mary “Lulu” Liggins, Larry Liggins, Christopher Liggins, all of Fremont, OH, Barbara Peoples of Arizona; grandchildren, Maleeshia Liggins, Champree and Najayee Simpson, Mariah, Dalvin, JaNaja, Simone, Ava and Jada Liggins.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Terri Sue Liggins; father, Tommie Lee Liggins, Sr.; children, Tommy and Tamara Brown; brother, David (Debi) Liggins; brother-in-law, David Peoples, Sr and grandson, Tamaro Brown.
Visitation: Saturday, June 4, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 425 E. State St., Fremont, OH.
Memorials can be made to the family.
