I considered Aunt Grace to be a great treasure in my life. I always looked forward to the annual gathering so that I could spend some time with your family. I watched how she treated others as I was growing up. Because of her influence, I learned how to be kind and loving and to treat others better than they may treat me. I certainly wasn’t as good at it as she was. I am praying for your family now that God give you strength. I look forward to seeing Uncle Rollie and Aunt Grace again.

My deepest sympathy to Mrs. Grace’s family! I have fond memories of her!! Always ready to help and give advice with a big smile for everyone!! As a teacher, I was so grateful for her interest in educating our youth about early life in Ohio! She provided her knowledge by preparing stations at The Old Garden Gate for fourth grade students to visit and participate in, such as shucking and grinding corn to make cornbread, washing and ironing clothes the “old way”, playing games that early settlers’ children played, cooking over a campfire, making potpourri, and many more hands-on experiences! What a gem of a woman (and thanks to Rollie, too!)!!! She lived a wonderful life and made a difference in many people’s lives!!

Ms.Grace was a huge part of my youth! Being a Campfire girl and having her to look up to was awesome! She was always on the go, making sure all the kids were having fun, learning and enjoying nature. There was nothing like catching fish with a hot dog on a cane pole, swimming in the pond, having canoe races or making crafts. I also enjoyed singing songs at lunch. I can still remember some! My prayers go out to the entire family. May you find peace during this difficult time.

My deepest sympathy to the whole family. The last time I saw Grace was some time ago. She was riding on a float on some parade down Birchard Ave, having a great time. We saw each other and waved. My God, the volleyball we use to play for hours and hours. I always enjoyed her company and admired her work with Camp Fire Girls (I still have my vest with the beads). Again, my thoughts and prayers to the family.
