
Glenn W. Binkley, 90, of Fremont, OH passed away surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, September 8, 2022 at Bethesda Care Center. He was born on August 3, 1932 in Fremont, the son of Edward A. and Enid L. (Donahue) Binkley. He attended Fremont Ross High School. Glenn married Gladys R. Gillmor on September 8, 1951 in Old Fort, OH. He was a self-employed contractor, doing general home repairs for forty-five years. He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. Glenn was Past Master Mason in 1980 at Green Springs Lodge #427, where he was a member since June 11, 1974, and a Past Patron of the Order of Eastern Star in Green Springs Chapter #299. He was also a life member of the Zenobia Shrine of Toledo, OH.
Glenn is survived by his wife of seventy-one years, Gladys R. Binkley, Fremont, OH; children, Leroy “Bill” (Carol) Binkley, Fremont, OH, Linda Binkley, South Ogden, UT and Loretta (Byron) Mann, Westerville, OH; grandchildren, Greg Binkley, Melissa Stierhoff, Garrett (Amber) Mann; great-grandchildren, Chase Stierhoff and Morgan Arthur; great-great grandson, Mattix Arthur.
He is preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Bob, Don, John “Jack” and Gene Binkley, Mildred “Grace” Hammer.
Private graveside services will be held at Greenlawn Memory Gardens, Clyde, OH.
Memorials can be made to Trinity United Methodist Church, 204 N. Wayne St., Fremont, OH 43420 or the Shriners Hospitals for Children, 2900 N. Rocky Point Dr., Tampa, FL 33607.
