My sympathies to the family. Jerry was a special lady and I always enjoyed talking to her during family gatherings. Susan, we will be in Amish Country the weekend of the services. Please inform the rest of the family. I would have enjoyed talking with the rest of the family, but some times things just don’t work that way! Take care and stay in touch. Rest in Peace, Jerry.

My thoughts and prayers are with you all. I’ve known this family from elementary school through adulthood. Mrs Shimer made my wedding cake in February of 1985. Wonderful parents produced wonderful children.
God bless you all.
So sorry for your loss, Dave and Kim, and the whole Shimer family. God bless you all.
What a beautiful soul. Cousin Gerry will always be in my memory as a gifted, loving, faith-filled servant of God. As a boy I remember Dale and Gerry’s wedding and always anticipated visiting the Shimer home. We pray that the certainty and the promise of the resurrection and reunion brings you comfort and peace. Sending love to all.
