Dear Family of George,
George and I were classmates at LHS and through the years of Class Reunions I will always remember him as a gentle quiet soul. Through Facebook we became friends on several levels and I will miss his banter and sharing political info and humor. May God give y’all peace in the days to come. Donna

I have delayed this writing, hoping that somehow the news was wrong. I had the privilege of being coached by George at General Sherman. Who would have thought, that a few years later, I would be teaching and coaching with George at Thomas Ewing. Thanks to many great athletes, we went undefeated in both football and track our last season, until I moved on to Lancaster High School.. George was a coach, colleague, and mentor to me. I will forever remember the times at the kitchen table, the scouting trips, and the trip to the UP. George touched many student and athletes lives. My thoughts and prayers go out to Jennifer, Casey, and Libby. Until we meet again, God Bless you, George.
