George Bartlebaugh, Jr.
George Bartlebaugh, Jr., 62, of Fremont, OH passed away on Sunday, June 6, 2021 at ProMedica Memorial Hospital. He was born in Sandusky, OH on October 8, 1958 to George and Margaret (Funk) Bartlebaugh.
George served in the U.S. Army from 1981 to 1985 and was awarded the Army Service Ribbon; Sharpshooter Badge (M-16 Rifle) and Good Conduct Medal. After the Army George went into the National Guard.
George married Gina Ricci on November 22, 1978 in Sandusky, OH. He enjoyed fishing, boating, grilling out and gardening.
George is survived by his wife of forty-two years, Gina Bartlebaugh, Fremont, OH; children, James Bartlebaugh, Melissa (Michael) Hicks and Amanda Bartlebaugh, all of Bellevue, OH; siblings, Louie (Lori) Bartlebaugh, Fairborn, OH, Rick Bartlebaugh and Jeff (Barb) Bartlebaugh both of Sandusky, OH, Carol Turner and Sandy Burke both of Milan, OH; grandchildren, Arianah, Jayvan, Joshua, Collin Eva Mae and Logan; many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation: Thursday, June 10, 2021, from 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 425 E. State St, Fremont, OH.
Service will begin at 3:00 pm at the funeral home with Certified Celebrant Susann Robitski Zimmerman officiating.
Memorials can be made to the American Cancer Society.
