
George A. Krienke, 82, of Fremont, OH passed away at Stein Hospice on Friday, January 31, 2020. He was born in Fremont on July 7, 1937 to Arthur H. and Clara (Williams) Krienke.
George served in the U.S. Navy from 1958 to 1962. He worked at Clyde Whirlpool for fourteen years and retired from Toledo Machining (Chrysler) after twenty-seven years of service. George was a member of the American Legion and U.A.W. Local 1435. He loved to fish and collect old fishing tackle.
George is survived by his children, Doug Krienke (fiancé Beth Mangus) and Kim (Dave) Dolin; sister, Betty Spaulding and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Dan Krienke; sisters, Delores, Eileen, Janice and Kenneth.
Private services and burial with Military Honors will take place at a later date.
Memorials can be made to the Fremont American Legion or U.A.W. Local 1435

Kim. So sorry for the loss of your Dad. It was just 23 years on the same date that I lost my Dad. Coincidentally he was in the Navy the same time! Maybe two old shipmates will reunite!
