I’m so very sorry for your loss. I knew Gary (and Nancy) for many years through church and even had the pleasure of dog sitting for them a few times. May God’s peace and comfort surround you during this sad season of life.

Sending my heartfelt sympathy to the family during this difficult time. I met Gary at church and we always connected after service for a quick hello and chat. It then progressed to him visiting my portrait studio after Nancy died. He was in such sorrow and missed her so much. He spoke of her often, her roses, their dog and we talked shop about computers, photography and the Lord. What great conversations we had! He even gifted me with a camera he traveled with while overseas. That was so special and meant a lot to me. I have had it proudly displayed in the gallery. Even when insomnia had its horrible grip on him, his visits still came with his megawatt smile and kind spirit. His visits to the studio stopped obviously during the pandemic and the last I heard from him was April but I was unaware of his fall. He will be dearly missed but I know how grateful he is to meet Jesus and see Nancy! I am truly blessed to have known him.
My Warmest Regards,

I will always remember Gary as the first person I met the first time I visited Grace Community Church. On that visit, and every time afterwards that I saw him, he was friendly, kind, smiling, and always remembered my name. I look forward to him greeting me again in heaven! Praying for you all during this time.

I am so saddened to hear this news. I just heard this morning (a day after the service). I would have definitely been there. I worked with Nancy at the bank for many years (and still kept in touch through lunch outings after her retirement), then through her, I began to know and become so fond of Gary. I also go to Grace Community Church, where I would see him after Nancy’s passing, and where he would always give me a hug every time I saw him. He will be truly missed! I also just sent a get well card to him a couple weeks ago, so I hope he was able to see that. They were both the kindest people I knew, and I’m sure they are now reunited! RIH with our amazing savior and your beautiful wife. Prayers to the entire family
