Frederick B. Jennings

Frederick B. Jennings, 80, of Fremont, OH passed away at his home, surrounded by his family, on Tuesday, December 28, 2021.  He was born July 29, 1941 in Toledo, OH, the son of Deamus and Mary (Mazurkiewicz) Jennings.  He was a 1959 graduate of Lake High School.

Fred married Barbara Entenmann on May 4, 1962 in Monroe, MI.  He was an electrician for Chrysler Corporation and a welder for General Dynamics until he retired.  He also did auto body work on the side.  Fred was a member of the Fremont Moose and Eagles.  He enjoyed camping, working on cars and wintering in Arizona for fifteen years with his wife, Barbara. Fred loved spending time with his family.

Fred is survived by his wife of fifty-nine years, Barbara Jennings, Fremont, OH; sons, Dale (Joann) Jennings, Mankato, MN and Craig (Tracy) Jennings, Acworth, GA; grandchildren, Matthew, Marc, Nathan and Austin Jennings; siblings, Dorothy Enright, Fostoria, OH, Erma (Ralph) Hammer, Findlay, OH, Helen Purse, Oxnard, CA and James (Chris) Jennings of Michigan.

He was preceded by his parents.

Visitation:  Sunday, January 2, 2022 from 2 to 5 p.m. with a celebration of life ceremony to follow at 5 p.m. at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 425 E State St., Fremont, OH.
