Frank J. Ronski, Jr.

Website Photo 4 19

Frank J. Ronski, Jr., 78, of Fremont, OH passed away on Thursday, April 1, 2021 at Elmwood Communities of Fremont.  He was born in Fremont to Frank Sr. and Helen Catherine (Fisher) Ronski and they preceded him in death.  He was a 1962 graduate of Fremont Ross High School.  He then graduated from Hobart Welding School.  Frank served in the Army Reserves.  He married Linda Davis, and they have been together for over forty-five years and she survives along with their fur babies, Max and Socks.

Frank grew up on the Prairie, and his first job was at Prairie Market.  He was a construction worker and worked on such jobs as the cooling tower for Davis Bessie and the New London Water Reservoir.  Frank worked at the Sugar Beet Factory as a beet-end foreman and finished his career packaging bulk sugar, retiring after thirty years of service. He was also a welder and a local union vice president for several years at the Sugar Beet Factory.

For many years Frank held season tickets to Ross football games.  He was a Detroit Tiger and Miami Dolphins fan.  He had a motor scooter and was proud to be part of local parades.  He enjoyed playing games on the computer and watching old westerns.

There will be no calling hours and burial will be private.

Memorials can be made to the Sandusky County Humane Society or ProMedica Hospice.

    Mrs. Ronski
Over the years it is unique how you remember certain things from your early life and from time to time you replay those memories. I have never forgotten my 6th grade year and the Saturday afternoon that myself, Joe and Rob came to your house and split wood with Mr Ronski. Its these moments that shaped who you are today. Thanks to both of you.

Linda, and Fur babies, we are so sorry to hear of Frank’s passing. He truly was a happy man and full of stories about life that kept us laughing. He was the entertainment at many of our class lunches at Arby’s. Although he was not able to attend as often in recent years we still would start laughing and say “wonder what Frank would have to say about that”. My husband is from Sandusky so he did not know him as well, but at our last Reunion we sat with Frank. They had such a good time together. Our sympathies for your loss, and may you find peace knowing he will be missed by many. Jo and Mike Weyer
