
Frances R. Good Bowlus, 92, of Fremont, OH passed away on Monday, December 15, 2014 at Valley View Healthcare Center. She was born October 12, 1922 in Port Clinton, OH, the daughter of Clarence and Frances (Upton) Rumery. She was a graduate of St. Joseph High School.
Frances married Walter William Good in 1941 and he preceded her in death in 1982. She then married Warren Bowlus and he preceded her in death. Frances was the owner of Good’s Restaurant until she retired in 1980. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and enjoyed baking and going to garage sales.
Frances is survived by her children, Doug (Melody) Good, Valencia, CA, Mary Good, Phoenix, AZ, Becky (Leonard) Legg, Dove Creek, CO, Greg (Susan) Good, Huntsville, TX; daughter-in-law, Judy Guthrie, Albuquerque, NM; sister, Florence Edmunds, Port Clinton, OH; brother, Leroy Rumery, Columbus, OH; ten grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Walter William Good; second husband, Warren Bowlus; sons, Roland and Denny Good.
Visitation: Friday from 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm with a Vigil at 5:30 pm at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 425 E. State St, Fremont, OH.
Mass of Christian Burial: Saturday, December 20, 2014, 10:30 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 709 Croghan St, Fremont, OH.
Burial will take place at a later date.
