
Frances L. Miesle (Aunt Fran), 95, of Fremont, OH passed away on Friday, September 10, 2021. She was born on September 24, 1925 in Fremont, OH to William and Clara (Bundschuh) Miesle. Fran was a 1943 graduate of St. Joseph Catholic High School. Fran worked for Union Carbide, fifteen years in the factory and then in the Industrial Engineers’ Department for another twenty-six years. She retired after forty-one years of service. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and was a leader of division #9 of Rosary and #8 of Confraternity. Frances loved to travel, read, was an avid walker, and volunteer her time serving others, including Meals on Wheels, and funeral luncheons at the church.
Fran is survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, siblings, Danal, Helen, William (Vera), Edwin (Mary Gertrude), Herbert (Dolores), and Henry (Mercedes) Miesle, Mildred Foster, Luella (Jack) Ahner, Naomi (Dale) Balsizer and Kathrine (Leo) Meyer.
Fran was cherished and loved by all and will be greatly missed.
Visitation will be Friday, October 8, 2021 from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 425 E. State St., Fremont, OH 43420.
Mass of Christian Burial is Friday, October 8, 2021, 10:00 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 709 Croghan St., Fremont, OH 43420.
Burial: St. Joseph Cemetery, Fremont, OH
