Eurdine Luella Boysen “Ernie”
Eurdine “Ernie” L. Boysen, 91, of Fremont, OH passed away on Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at ProMedica Memorial Hospital. She was born September 28, 1927 in Port Clinton, OH to Theodore and Luetta (Ohm) Wiechman.
Ernie worked for the U.S. Government in the Clean Room. She had also worked at the A&P in Port Clinton and at the Newark Airforce Station where she retired in 1986 at the age of sixty-four. Ernie was a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church and enjoyed quilting, gardening and bowling. She loved her dog, Tosh.
Ernie is survived by her son, Carl “Sam” (Rhonda) Boysen, Hebron, OH; grandsons, Justin and Garrett (Jami) Boysen; brother, Virgil Wiechman, Oak Harbor, OH and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Edna McClure and brother, Eldon Wiechman.
Visitation: Saturday, December 22, 2018 from 10 am to Noon at St. Mark Lutheran Church, 902 East State St, Fremont, OH 43420 with a service to follow at Noon. Pastor Scott Mauch will officiate.
Burial will take place at Greenwood Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made in Ernie’s name to St. Mark Lutheran Church.
