
Enestacio “Ernie” R. Reyna, 84, of Fremont, OH went Home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, May 4, 2016 at ProMedica Toledo Hospital. He was born on March 21, 1932 in Georgetown, TX to Demitrius and Marcella (Rodriguez) Reyna.
Ernie married Olivia S. Herrera on July 25, 1957 in Toledo, OH and she preceded him in death on September 18, 2007. He worked at Union Carbide for twenty-three years and retired in 1996. He had previously worked at Tony’s Bakery for eighteen years.
Ernie was a member of Victory Church. He loved the Lord and was always there for his family. Ernie had a great sense of humor and will be missed greatly by his family. He loved socializing with his friends.
The family would like to thank Sandusky County EMS, ProMedica Hospitals, the Fremont Dialysis Center and Pastor Scott and Sister Bunny Robles.
Ernie is survived by his children, Maria (Mel) Pena, Rey (Mary Lou) Reyna, Luis (Alicia) Reyna, Arsenio Reyna, all of Fremont, OH, Alberto (Bonita) Reyna, Eaton, OH, Erminia (Armando) Calderon, Bowling Green, OH, Jose (Sara) Reyna, Burgoon, OH; siblings, San Juana Ambriz, Houston, TX, Celia Tolento, Fostoria, OH and Jose Angel Reyna, Taylor, TX; seventeen grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Olivia Reyna; siblings, Juan, Sisto and Pedro Reyna, Rita Velasquez and Octavia Martinez.
Visitation: Sunday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 425 E. State St., Fremont, OH.
Service: Monday, May 9, 2016; 10:30 a.m. at Victory Church, 2051 Oak Harbor Rd, Fremont, OH with an hour of visitation prior to the service at the church. Pastor Scott Robles will be officiating.
