
Eileen Holbert, 93, passed away on Friday, February 12, 2021 at Bellevue Care Center. She was born on February 25, 1927 in Zanesville, OH to James and Gladys (Richardson) Larimer. Eileen married Leon Holbert on November 28, 1946 in Zanesville, OH and he preceded her in death on November 3, 1981. She worked for Bethesda Care Center as a STNA for many years. Eileen enjoyed playing Bingo, shopping with her friend, Jessie and spending time with her family.
Eileen is survived by her children, Michael Holbert, Fremont, OH, Mary (Jim) Phipps, Perrysburg, OH, Leon “Eddie” Holbert-Auxter, Fremont, OH and Deborah (Roger) Fisher, Clyde, OH; nineteen grandchildren, forty-eight great grandchildren and twenty-four great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband; sons, James, Daniel and Richard Holbert; special companion, James Lam of Virginia; five brothers and three sisters.
Visitation will take place on Wednesday, February 17, 2021 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 425 E. State St, Fremont, OH 43420.
The use of face masks is required while indoors at all times. Social distancing will be observed throughout the visitation with wait times taking place outdoors. If you would prefer, you may express your condolences below or call the funeral home at 419-332-6409 to request that your name be signed in the guest book.
Burial will be at Greenlawn Memory Gardens, Clyde, OH.
Memorials can be made in Eileen’s honor to Donor’s choice.
