
Edward “Pumpkin” O’Keith Caldwell, 63, of Fremont, OH passed away at his home on Friday, February 9, 2018. He was born on December 22, 1954 in Fremont to Anna Mae Jones Smith and Edward Gomez. He was raised by his adoptive parents Carter and Charlotte Caldwell.
Pumpkin worked for the Fremont Company for many years. He enjoyed working on cars, going to the races, driving race cars and going to flea markets with his friend Danny Castillo.
Pumpkin is survived by his daughter, Missi (Ricky) McDonald; mother, Anna Mae Smith; granddaughter, JaKara Bradley; siblings, LaTanya Edwards, Charlene Jones, all of Fremont, OH, Eddie Jones, Jr., Orlando, FL; step children, Eric Gase of Florida, Marc Gase, Fremont, OH, Kim Gase, Sandusky, OH, Krissy Haynes and Scott Overmyer both of Fremont, OH; former wife, Patricia Caldwell; aunts, Joan Harris and Lucille Nadine and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father; his adoptive parents, Carter and Charlotte Caldwell; grandparents, Lucille Caldwell, Cleveland and Nancy Branch and brother, Norse Jones.
Visitation: Saturday, February 17, 2017, from 10:00 am to Noon at Rivers of Living Water Ministries, 604 Howland St, Fremont, OH. Service will begin at Noon at the church with Pastor C.J. Burel officiating.
