Dwight Edison Kelley

Dwight E. Kelley, 68, of Siler St, Fremont, OH passed away on Friday, July 19, 2013 at Memorial Hospital. He was born on August 11, 1944 in Boston, MA, the son of Fred and June (Carmichael) Kelley.

Dwight served in the U.S. Navy from 1963 to 1985 where he received the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Four Navy Good Conduct Awards, Navy “E” Ribbon, Meritorious Unit Commendation and two Sea Service Deployment Ribbons.

Dwight married Kazuko “Amy” Sakiyama on November 14, 1967 in Japan and she preceded him in death on April 18, 2011. He was a member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church. Dwight enjoyed fishing and cooking.

Dwight is survived by his daughters, Kathy (John) Yingling of Troy, OH and Grace (Mike Toney) Molyet of Perrysburg, OH; nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Kazuko “Amy” Kelley; sisters, Dawn Stull, Leila Lane and son-in-law, Charles Molyet, Jr.

Services were private for the family.

Memorials: St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 206 N. Park Ave. Fremont, OH.
