Douglas Edward Laubacher
Douglas Edward Laubacher, 61, of Fremont, OH passed away on Wednesday, December 18, 2019 at Elmwood Nursing Home in Green Springs. He was born September 10, 1958 in Fremont to Christ, Jr. and Catherine L. (Cooley) Laubacher. He was a 1978 graduate of Oak Harbor High School.
Doug married Paula Trimble on May 27, 2000 in Bettsville, OH and she preceded him in death on December 22, 2017. He enjoyed lighthouses, visiting Marblehead, fishing and Christian music.
Doug is survived by his children, Randy, Timothy and Andrew Laubacher, all of Fremont, OH, Brittany Laubacher; a stepson and stepdaughter; siblings, Christine Harris of Virginia, Gail Smith of Wisconsin, Dorothea “Dot” Nason, Port Clinton, OH and Karen Hall, Fremont, OH; nine grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Paula Laubacher.
A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, December 23, 2019, 1:00 pm at Fremont Baptist Temple, 1150 S. CR 198, Fremont, OH.
