Dorothy Johnson

Dorothy Johnson, 96, of Fremont, OH passed away on Saturday, October 9, 2021 at ProMedica Memorial Hospital.  She was born on June 15, 1925 in Georgia to John Sr. and Mattie (Woodley) Harris.   Dorothy married Warren Daniels, Sr., and then Furnie Johnson, who she is preceded by.  She worked in the cafeteria at the Sandusky County Home and retired after fifteen years of service.  Dorothy was a member of Path 2 Life Ministries and enjoyed watching her favorite TV shows and crafting.  She was a loving soul who loved all her family and friends and had a spirit of joyfulness.

Dorothy is survived by her children, Warren (Robbie) Daniels, Fremont, OH, Dorothy Bridges, Del Ray Beach, FL, James Daniels, Fremont, OH; grandchildren, Dereck, Gregory and Lemake Bridges, Joyce, Roger and Jim McKenna, Alvin and Tim Daniels, Craig Jr. and Cory (Jessica) Daniels, Suqueiva Atkins; step-grandchildren, Sabrina, Aaron, Toni, Dino, Daphanie, Jozette, Evie, Floyd Jr., William, Todd, Stacey, Rodney, Brett, Janet, Tasha, Jackie, Dana, Dereck, Mia, Tyrone, Traci and Kenny.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Warren Daniels, Sr. and Furnie Johnson; son, John Lee Daniels; stepchildren, Marie Sewell and Peggy Harris, Charles, William and Alvin Johnson; grandson, Craig Daniels, Sr.;  great grandson, Devin Liggins and step-granddaughter, Tammy Johnson.

Visitation:  Saturday, October 16, 2021, from 10:00 – 11:00 am, at Greater St. James Church, 629 N. Sixth St., Fremont, OH.

Services will follow at 11:00 am at the church with Pastor Todd Chance officiating.

Burial:  Oakwood Cemetery
