
Dorothy “Ann” Earle, 85, of Fremont, OH passed away with her family by her side on Monday, January 27, 2020 at ProMedica Memorial Hospital in Fremont. She was born on January 1, 1935 in England, District of Southhampton Eastern in the County Borough of Southhampton, to Frederick John and Dorothy Lucy (Rogers) Davies.
Ann married Harold A. Earle on April 29, 1952 in England and he preceded her in death on March 25, 2010. She worked at Yerges Manufacturing for twenty-five years. Ann loved her dogs, her garden, feeding the birds and her “pet” rabbits.
Ann is survived by her children, Susan (Bill) Chapman, Gill (Joe) Saunders, Andrew Earle and Michael Earle, all of Fremont, OH; grandchildren, Cheri (Joe) Cox, Angie Demmy, Jessica and Stephanie Saunders, Matthew Milton, Ian Milton, Tiffany (Dee) Jackson, Michael Earle and Austin (Alex) Earle; twenty-six great grandchildren and seven great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harold A. Earle; daughter, Sandra Earle; granddaughters, Amanda Gibbs and Danna Lee Demmy.
Visitation: Thursday from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 425 E. State St, Fremont, OH
Service: Friday, January 31, 2020, 10:00 am at the funeral home.
Burial: Oakwood Cemetery
Memorials can be made to the Humane Society of Sandusky County.
