
Doris M. Hubley, 90, of Fremont, OH passed away on Monday, November 22, 2021 at Spring Creek Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Green Springs, OH. She was born on June 10, 1931 in Fremont, the daughter of Jack and Clara (Culbert) Clookie. She was a 1949 graduate of Fremont Ross High School. Doris married Dean Hubley on December 12, 1958 at Eastside Presbyterian Church and he preceded her in death on October 22, 2007. She was a homemaker and also worked in the medical records department at Memorial Hospital for ten years. Doris loved shopping, puzzles and learning.
Doris is survived by her children, Sandra (Thomas) Fowler, Colorado Springs, CO, Steward Hubley and Sara (Ralph “RJ”) Reynolds both of Fremont, OH, stepchildren, Susan (Roger) Seward and Richard (Carol) Hubley both of Brunswick, OH; grandchildren, Ryan (Angie) Fowler, Nicholas Hubley, Ethan (Abbie) Hubley and Diana (Clayton) Poenisch; seven step-grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Dean Hubley; sister, Marjorie (Gerald) Marshall and grandson, Travis Fowler
A celebration of life ceremony will take place on May 4, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. with an hour of gather prior to the ceremony at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 425 E State St., Fremont, OH.
