
Donna J. Aspden, 89, of Fremont, OH passed away on Friday, January 3, 2020 at Bridge Hospice in Bowling Green, OH. She was born on October 1, 1930 in Fremont, OH to Joseph and Hazel (Snavely) Soule. Donna was a graduate of Fremont Ross High School.
Donna married Roy J. Aspden on March 4, 1951 in Fremont, OH and he preceded her in death on October 7, 2004. She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church and loved to bowl, quilt, knit, read and bake wedding cakes.
Donna is survived by her children, Marcia (Michael) Brockway and Mark (Sarah) Aspden both of Fremont, OH; six grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband; daughters, Martha and Marie Aspden; siblings, Luella Engler, Hazel Moyer, Ester Beier, Mabel Hunter, Charles Soule, James Soule, Betty Roth, Lynette Spitler, and infant twin sisters, Mary Catherine and Beulah Waive Soule.
Visitation: Tuesday, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 425 E. State St, Fremont, OH 43420.
Service: Wednesday, January 8, 2020 at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home with an hour visitation prior to the service and Bishop Ford Kebker will be officiating her service.
Burial: Oakwood Cemetery
