
Donald N. Byers, 62, of Fremont, OH, according to John 5:24, passed from death unto life on November 6, 2014 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born on January 13, 1952 in Fremont, OH to Nelson A. and Luella (Ohm) Byers. He was a 1970 graduate of Fremont Ross High School.
Don married his high school sweetheart Susan J. Molyet on June 15, 1973 at Grace Lutheran Church and she survives. He was an operating engineer with Local 18 of Toledo working for Mosser Construction for 26 years until he retired in February of 2014.
Don loved working in the dirt both at work and home and could fix anything. He also enjoyed day trading in the stock market, his Mustangs and watching the Cleveland Browns. He mostly enjoyed spending time with his family.
Don is survived by his wife of forty-one years, Susan Byers, Fremont; children, Michael (Yelena) Byers, Denver, CO, Melinda (Wesley) Keegan, Fremont and Eric Byers, Findlay, OH; grandchildren, Mikayla and Samuel Byers and Elisha and Shiloh Keegan; sisters, Mary Lou (Richard) Meyer, Oak Harbor and Joyce Coffman, Pueblo West, CO and many nieces and nephews.
Don is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Coralene Watts.
A Celebration of Don’s Life will be held on Sunday, November 16, 2014 from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Misty Meadows, 2100 Baker Rd, Fremont, OH.
A luncheon and fellowship will also take place during the Celebration.
