To Roderick,Katherine and Douglas, This is when I knew your family and your wonderful patents would address you in this way.I remember Kevin in Siesta Key and the times Kevin and I would walk and talk about boyhood things. He loved detailed metal tanks and other military vehicles toy miniatures .Then later in the week we went to a local Christian Youth Group and the youth leader asked us to write down everything or anything we wanted. Most people wanted to change the world and help others.Kevin’s Card said “I want more Tanks,Cannons and other Military Trucks.” The Youth Leader’s face went red and he was like “ok some here have…other views on things”.Memories of Turtle Beach,Siesta Beach your parents and Grand parents.Wonderful times.Thank you Rod,Kathy and Doug. And Thank you Kevin. Although I didn’t know Kevin, I noted that he was a US Navy submarine veteran, as I am. Knowing this tells me he had to be a man of character. May he have Fair Winds and Following Seas and may he Rest In Peace.

I served with Kevin on USS Springfield. He was a great person, hard worker and kind hearted. I respected his opinion and trusted his judgement. He was always quick with a smile and a laugh. He will be sorely missed and will be in my prayers.

I am saddened to see this. Mac was a great American, good Sonarman, a mentor and a friend while we were stationed on the USS SPRINGFIELD SSN-761 together. I remember his sense of humor, the full-size van he used for a family car and how he loved his family so much. He has set off on another voyage following the brightest star on a peaceful sea with winds to his back. We will keep you all in our prayers.
